We honored our local Police, Sheriff’s Department, EMS, and Firefighters. These First Responders were selected by their peers to receive the awards. Washington County Deputy of the year Jacob Faske. Brenham Police Officer of the year: Detective Bryan Morong. EMS – Paramedic of the Year: Zethaniah Putnam. Firefighter of the Year: Gene Swanke. We thank them for their dedication and service to the people of Washington County and Brenham.
