Kennith Mueller was awarded a certificate for 50 years of continuous American Legion Membership by Rich Huntley Department of Texas Commander.
Boys State Statemen for 2025. Several came to our monthly meeting and regaled us about their experiences at Boys State. Each one said they enjoyed the experience and learned a lot about the way our government works. They each said they made new friends from other parts of the state and plan to keep in touch with them.
We honored our local Police, Sheriff’s Department, EMS, and Firefighters. These First Responders were selected by their peers to receive the awards. Washington County Deputy of the Year: Adam Zavala. Brenham Police Officer of the year: Andrea Guerra. EMS – Paramedic of the Year: Zach Muehsler. Firefighter of the Year: Stephen Draehn. We thank them for their dedication and service to the people of Washington County and Brenham.
